experiences at ARUNA
harvesting & foraging
ARUNA Estate have partnered with local organic farmers, Two Birds Farm, and we have a three-acre organic garden, with an abundance of produce.
During your stay with us, you are welcome to get your hands dirty! If you would like to harvest produce, you will find in your villa a basket, a set of secateurs and a note detailing which freshly grown vegetables and herbs are ready to harvest.
exploring the bush
Bush walking is a popular recreation activity in and around the Southern Highlands. You can access the Penrose State Forest directly from your accommodation, where you will find hikes of various lengths and difficulty levels.
Cycling is a great way to explore ARUNA and beyond. Adult and child size bikes are free to borrow from our bike shed, located near the Duck Foot Farm plot.
active at ARUNA
Enjoy a swim in our infinity edge swimming pool, with beautiful views across ARUNA Estate. Relax by the pool on a sun lounge before you dive in for a swim in the refreshing water.
And our tennis court is officially open for business! Tennis racquets and balls can be borrowed from the bike shed, located near the Duck Foot Farm plot.
yoga and meditation
Dotted across the Aruna property are our purpose built yoga and meditation decks.
We chose the most peaceful locations at ARUNA, including on the banks of Paddy’s River, to create tranquil and calm spaces.
If you would like to arrange a private yoga or pilates session, price varies depending on number of participants, duration and style.
equestrian at ARUNA
Guests with horses can board their horses in the ARUNA stables and ride directly into the State Forest. If you don’t have your own horse, and simply want to see the forest trails on horseback, we recommend Canyonleigh Trails. Only a 15 min drive from our back gate… Canyonleigh Trailriding
