A moments decision to visit the Southern Highlands led to owners, Antony and Chris, falling in love with the property upon first sight. They saw a unique opportunity to create a place that celebrates nature, sustainable farming, local produce, and where genuine warm country hospitality could come together to create meaningful celebrations and unforgettable weddings.

The name ARUNA was derived from two cultural meanings: ARUN meaning dawn or daybreak in Thai, while in Japanese ‘ARUNA’ translates to ‘moon love’. For us, this symbolises the beauty we see from dawn to dusk and the deep connection between nature, love and life’s most meaningful moments.

Set across 70-acres, ARUNA Estate is home to a working sheep farm, organic produce gardens, commercial ‘no till regenerative’ garden, accommodation options, natural bushland all within the landscapes of the Southern Highlands.

ARUNA is nestled in a picturesque setting, with views of open, blue skies and the rich, warm tones of the Australian bush. It’s the perfect place for relaxing, unwinding and disconnecting from the day to day.

For Antony and Chris, ARUNA is a place to slow down, reconnect and appreciate life’s simple pleasures. A place where moments are shared and where love is celebrated in its most genuine form. It is this spirit that flows through every wedding held at ARUNA Estate. There is nothing they enjoy more than sharing a bottle of red wine on the meditation deck, overlooking the peaceful waters of Paddy’s River as it winds through the property.
